When the heat arrives, style is reinvented.

There’s something about June that changes everything. The light, the pace, the clothes. Suddenly you want lightweight pieces, colours that speak for themselves and outfits that work from the office to the beach bar without too much effort. Here’s what I’d be wearing this season.

SITUATION 1. OFFICE DAY

Two looks with a common thread: natural fabrics, silhouettes that don’t feel restrictive, and that one accessory that elevates the whole outfit without looking like you’ve tried too hard.

Look 1
This striped midi dress from Vogana is one of those pieces that takes care of the whole day without you having to think about a thing. A clean cut, breathable fabric and a silhouette that works for any meeting. I pair it with Nunet’s orange triangular earrings, 3D-printed using orange peel filament—that splash of colour that brings the whole look to life—and the brown cactus leather bag, also by Nunet, which adds a more structured contrast to the ensemble. On my feet, flat sandals by Cordera: comfortable, elegant and the sort you won’t take off all day.

Look 2
Here, the spotlight is on the white lace-ruffled top by Andión. It’s a piece with plenty of character that needs no competition, so I’ve balanced it with flowing white trousers from Massimo Dutti, which bring a sense of calm and freshness. The long orange earrings from Nunet make another appearance; in summer, a splash of colour on your ears is always a good idea. To finish off the look: a textured raffia bag from Castañer and mules in the same material from Vidorreta. Everything speaks the same language.

SITUATION 2. SUMMER WEDDING

Summer weddings are the time of year when you can (and should) go all out. No playing it safe: the guest who stands out is the one who dares to be bold.

Look 1
This blue and white printed top and long skirt set from Banswithb is pure Mediterranean summer. A very complete ensemble that doesn’t need much else, but which is taken to the next level with the right details. A navy blue handbag by Zahati, earrings by Nunet and a fan by Voira as a hand accessory that also pays homage to the most elegant traditions. On your feet, platform espadrilles by Vidorreta: comfortable all day long and perfect for any wedding venue.

Look 2
For those who want to go for minimalism with character… but just as special. The striped waistcoat and terracotta midi skirt, both by Baltera, create an ensemble that has it all:  colour with personality and a flattering silhouette. The narnaja-coloured flower-shaped earrings by Nunet complement the look’s colour palette perfectly. A raffia bag by Castañer and black flat sandals by Massimo Dutti elongate the silhouette without compromising on comfort.

SITUATION 3. A DAY AT THE BEACH AND THE BEACH BAR

Yes, there is such a thing as a beach look. And no, it’s not just a swimsuit and a towel. For those of you who take your time before hitting the sand, I understand you perfectly.

Look 1
A green and brown bikini from Thinking Mu as the base, topped with multicoloured striped trousers, also from Thinking Mu – one of those pieces that makes the outfit on its own. The white wrap-around shirt, again from Thinking Mu, completes the look for a stroll or a visit to the beach bar. Triangular earrings by Nunet in yellow, 3D-printed with lemon peel filament, to add that finishing touch, and flat sandals by Cordera, perfect for dinner.

Look 2
The brown and white printed halter dress by Inés Martín Alcalde is pure Mediterranean romance. A piece that works just as well on the beach as it does for any evening outing. I’ve paired it with wedge espadrilles from Castañer —which add height without compromising comfort on the sand—, orange-toned earrings from Nunet and a dark leather bag, also from Nunet, for that contrast that always works.

I hope these looks give you ideas and, above all, inspire you to dress more intentionally this summer. You don't need a thousand clothes or to follow every trend: you just need to find what makes you feel good and build from there. If you have any doubts, questions, or would like me to elaborate on any of these looks in more detail, I'm here.

Happy summer to all!
